Large & Fast & Forefront

Inspired by Voron 2.4, the SV08 features a spacious 350×350×345mm³ build volume, printing speeds up to 700mm/s, and an unbeatable price, keeping it at the forefront of 3D printing.

Quick Assembly in 1 Hour

Unlike the Voron 2.4 kit that takes 30+ hours to build, the SV08 comes largely pre-assembled—get your printer ready in just an hour and start printing.

CoreXY Kinematics

The SV08 utilizes CoreXY kinematics to reduce moving mass and enhance motion control, resulting in higher maximum acceleration and printing speed. The smooth motion of CoreXY also helps reduce vibrations and improve printing accuracy.

Up to 700mm/s

With a maximum print speed of 700mm/s and acceleration up to 40,000mm/s², the SV08 delivers faster, high-quality results even for large-scale prints.

4× Print Volume

With a generous printing volume of 350x350x345mm³, the expansive space ensures that creation needs to be caged. This freedom allows for the full expression of creativity, unbounded by the limitationsof smaller printing volumes.

Built-in Camera

SVO8 is equipped with a camera that allows monitoring of the printing process in real time. Additionally, it enables the capturing of time-lapse footage, which is the ability to closely observe and document the printing process, offering convenience and insight into the printing experience.

All-axes Linear Rails

SVO8 utilizes linear rails for all 7 axes (4Z+2Y+1X) to improve precision and resistance to axial movement deformation. The provision of smooth and precise linear motion is crucial for producing high-quality prints. These rails guide the printer's print head and build platform, ensuring accurate positioning and consistent, smooth movement throughout the printing process.

Superior Print Quality

Faster, More Precise.

Adaptive Area Detection

Adaptive area detection compensates for leveling based on the downward projection of the print model, effectively reducing leveling preparation time. By detecting the model's geometry, the extrusion volume is optimized to improve accuracy in detail areas.

Pressure Advance

Pressure Advance optimizes extruder control by compensating for extrusion lag. It adjusts flow before movement changes (corners or acceleration/deceleration), ensuring precise extrusion and minimizing over- or under-extrusion, significantly improving print accuracy and speed.

Input Shaping

Input Shaping technology mathematically adjusts the printer’s acceleration commands to compensate for mechanical resonance caused by rapid movements, reducing ringing/ghosting artifacts during printing. This allows for higher printing speeds while maintaining superior print quality.

Open Source

With fully open-source software, firmware, and hardware, you can customize and upgrade your 3D printer, bringing endless joy from the creativity and hands-on experience, not just the prints.

Remote Control SV08 Printer.jpg__PID:68ecf595-69e9-4ef2-81da-bd1ba7aeafaf

Remote Control

Simply connect SV08 to your LAN using WiFi or an Ethernet port enables convenient interaction with your printers and grants access to a range of features.

4 Independent Z Motors

The entire gantry system can be smoothly leveled using 4 independent Z motors. This process, known as Quad-Gantry-Leveling (QGL), enhances printer accuracy, reducing the likelihood of print failures. It can also detect and compensate for wear or damage.

Efficient Heating Kit

SV08 3D printer heats up rapidly, Ceramic Plate Heating & High-Flow Nozzle reach 300°C quickly and 220°C in 40 seconds. Using ceramic heating block & AC heated bed reduce heating time by 70%, allowing near-instant printing and easy preheating for nozzle cleaning and leveling. Enjoy precise, high-quality prints with versatile material compatibility.

Overall great printer

This is my second 3D printer, coming from the Anycubic Vyper. And I'm blown away by the difference in performance. Assembly is straightforward, the build is solid, and I was very impressed to get great prints at the default 300mm/s slicer preset speeds. Also Klipper makes it possible to configure pretty much anything.

There is one big problem though: the bed and bed leveling sensor. I'm currently assembling a Klicky sensor and will then proceed to add shims under the bed to straighten it out somewhat. I'm sure that everything will be working well in a while.

I've also closed up the printer with Plexiglas panels and added an exhaust fan. And I might switch to mainline Klipper and a MicroSwiss nozzle someday.

If you're willing to put some time and work into it, the SV08 is a great printer for advanced users. This is probably the best deal you'll get for a high-performance CoreXY printer. And if you need any help, Sovol's support team is first-class!

Suprisingly Good

I got the printer last week and I must say that it is really good. Only problems I've had after printing non stop for 3 days is, that the bottom fan can be really loud (you can fix it in the software). and that the wording of the manual can be poor and straight up confusing at times. I suggest watching an assembly video for clearer instructions.

Amazing machine

I have had SV02, SV03, SV04, SV06, and SV06+ before this SV08. I was without words when I printed my first part, the speed was something I didn't know even existed. I have had my user errors, but for the past year this printer is rock solid and worth twice what I paid at first release. I haven't even had to run z calibrate for the past 4 months, I might adjust z when I switch to PETG, but that's really the only time. I can't wait to buy another when a good multi color option is available!

Good with some study

Well made. Packaged well. Klipper is powerful but not a first printer. Not quite a voron but a close facsimile. Prints well with a little prep and setup. Pleased with it so far.

Great printer for a decent price

I recently bought this printer and I am happy. In the field of 3d printers you find a lot of critics complaining about this and that. The point is that the wear on the components is higher compared to other tech tools. It is hot, it is fast and there are lots of mass being moved around. Never forget that. And tweaking the system to the own needs is relatively normal.
But so far (fingers crossed) I did not have a lot of problems. At the beginning I used the wrong profile for PLA and that caused some trouble. The only complaint is the deviation in bed levelling. It looks like the measurement is a bit unprecise. So I moved from 2 to 3 samples. Since then it is better.
But that was about it. The printer is very fast. I mean very fast. The prints look very nice and it is a well rounded package.
