I have Been 3d Printing now for many years and I am still learning, Most of my printers have been in the ender series From Creality. I decided to Try a Printer that was Decidedly not from Creality after a very disappointing experience with the ender 6. So I ordered the Sv08 and like the ender 6 I had some work to do the moment it left the Box, I had to put it together I found the Process to be straight forward and simple to do took me about a half hour. and the First Prints went along rather well. as I tried some more advanced filaments such as ABS I found that it will for sure need an enclosure and the low bed heats will be an issue at sub 100c. But over all after a small amount of tuning with material feed ect I now have very workable Profiles for many of my favorite filaments. Over all Id say its a Great Printer if you don't want to spend a bunch of time moding it out of the Box. The quality out of the Prints have been reasonable, and improved after tuning the Printer. I would like to see a more robust tool head if this is to truly Print more advanced Materials like a hardened steal nozzle.
SV08 Printer: A Defective Product with Unacceptable Support—Do Not Buy
The SV08 printer has been an utterly disappointing purchase, plagued by persistent issues that render it unusable. Despite exhaustive efforts—replacing the main board (excluding the EMMC), reflashing the EMMC and firmware, swapping the entire tool head, and verifying continuity and voltage of all cables—the printer still fails to connect to Klipper and only boots up intermittently. I spent months troubleshooting via email with customer service, following their every suggestion, only to be met with zero results. This isn’t a minor glitch; it’s a fundamental design or quality control failure that has wasted countless hours I could have spent printing.
Customer service has been equally infuriating, offering no meaningful resolution. I worked diligently with them right up until my warranty expired, replacing parts and running tests as instructed, but the issues persisted. Once the warranty ran out, they refused a refund or replacement and instead encouraged me to spend more money on additional parts to continue the failed diagnosis. This approach feels like a blatant disregard for customers, prioritizing profit over providing a functional product. Their unwillingness to stand behind the SV08 after months of cooperative troubleshooting is unacceptable.
In short, the SV08 is a money pit that delivers nothing but frustration. I had hoped to resolve these issues and leave a positive review, but the combination of a defective printer and a company that pushes customers to keep spending without results has left me no choice but to warn others. Save your time, money, and sanity—avoid the SV08 and any printer from this company at all costs. You deserve a product and support team that actually work.
The machine feels premium has a nice build quality with the steel and aluminum parts, the instructions were clear and easy to follow.
My two gripes for the unit is the poor print quality of the cable chain parts that hold the umbilical in place that ship with the enclosure kit, one of mine broke the day I installed it.
Second what are the gasket strips for they are not mentioned in the install manual for the enclosure kit.
Im giving 4 stars because i tried printing petg and the nozzle exploded so i had to replace the nozzle assembly with a microswiss nozzle but overall its a huge upgrade over my old printer and so far its been really realiable. Im not disappointed with the sv08.
